This morning I was preparing a course in how to optimize Amazon.com for authors and merchants. Looking for a book that sort of captured that "did he really say what I thought he said" perspective. The author, in his youth a professed "113lb weakling" writes a book in his 40's for guys that want to look good naked. Not want a 120 cholesterol count. Sure, that's part of it. But it's not the message that gets you to drop down and give 40 pushups first thing in the morning. It's the vision of the wife/girlfriend/prospective date ogling his biceps and 6-pack abs. And where that might lead. Great example, Dan. And the example of the sign-painter working on spec rocks. It's that sort of creative motivation that makes for big-time entrepreneurial success.
