Very interesting interview. I work in health IT, and one of my favorite parts of my work entails telling — or at least trying to tell — complex stories in simple ways. With that said, I’d be interested to hear Betsy’s opinions/experiences on effective ways to present complex stories (especially stories that involve a great deal of medical data), particularly when a single story needs to be told in 3 or 4 different ways. For example, a doctor, an administrator, and a patient might all need to hear the same story: how do you present in a way that is meaningful to each of them?
