Thanks for the comments folks! We had a fun time making these videos. The idea started when Nancy challenged us to work together to break out of the "rut" that we were in. We got together a group of folks, brainstormed fun ways to encourage people to use presentation transitions wisely, made some costumes, and, while it took many weeks to prepare, filmed all four of these videos in a couple of (very fun) afternoons. Thanks for being part of the journey!

These videos are great - really funny. Did you consider having the video show why random transitions aren't a good choice? It seemed a bit like one had to understand that up-front to really "get it".

Anyway - really fun resource. How long do they take to make? Minutes or hours?

These short videos are both entertaining and educational, but they feel dry for one reason: there's no music in them to either emphasize an action or provide some audio background. As you correctly point out how we should pay attention to design and presentation style you should not stop there! When presenting in the form of video clips, you can seriously enhance the quality of these with the right intro/background/finale music or sound effects.

Well done...

Wouldn't it be excellent if there was a setting to have the slides themselves show up randomly too...! What a great combo of randomness....!!!
