Ok, so good to know that I’m not the only one who had books everywhere, tagged with possible citations, and overall kaos in my workspace while writing. Even though my undertaking was on a far smaller scale.

I am VERY interested in learning more about the “Stop Method” you cited. Can you share some details? A Google search didn’t turn up much.

Looking forward to your next book!

I have followed this blog since the start and thought most of the posts were informational and informative. But to me, it has recently turned into the “All About Nancy” blog. There are fewer posts about ideas and more posts about awards, places Nancy is speaking, etc. I also follow the Presentation Zen blog. Garr’s posts are less frequent, but more about ideas. Just a bit of constructive feedback.

Love the STOP method (Sequential Thematic Organization of Publications)! Here’s a link to the original paper written by Tracey, Rugh, and Starkey in 1965:

Hi @Patrick, Thanks for the feedback.
We completely agree! We’re restructuring our web site and blog in a few months so that the “news” feeds aren’t mixed in w/ the content. You’ll be able to subscribe to a subset of content. BUT, the good news is that the reason the blog has been content-free is because I’ve been on deadline (and Garr’s is ‘cuz he had a little baby). We’ll be releasing resonate book content soon on the web,
